Queen Street West
September 25, 2009 by Joy Paterson · Leave a Comment
One of Toronto’s hippest neighborhoods. Funky stores and boutiques, trendy bars and café’s line the streets between University and Spadina. Between Trinity Bellwoods Park and Dufferin is what is known as The Art and Design District. This area is mainly made up of galleries and trendy bars and restaurants. Queen West is also the home to City TV. Just south of Queen Street you’ll find the center of Toronto’s night life; the club zone.
This area is a home to many Loft style condos of which are usually either a historical building conversion or a brand new modern condo. Over the past couple of years, rents and real estate prices have increased dramatically here.
